We have recently extended our business into Pipe and Tube manipulation, using our Pines Hydraulic Bender. This piece of equipment has a capacity of 3/4in. to 3in diameter and is capable of working with Stainless Steel, Titanium and Aluminium. 

 

We also supply Tube Fabrications, using our own NADCAP Approved Welders. Our professionally trained toolroom staff can make any Jigs, Tools or Fixtures to meet our customers' demands.  

 

We have an excellent range of Flypresses and a 50 Tonne Hydraulic Press on site. We have the capability to manufacture our own Tooling or, if required, we can use our Customer’s tooling. 

CKT started operating in 2000 and was registered as a limited company in April 2007. We manufacture tubular fabrications, sub-assemblies, bracketry, and similar products in Nickel Chrome Alloys, Titanium, Aluminium Alloys, 4130 and standard steels. 

 

CKT has multi-skilled personnel, including NADCAP certified welders, who proudce welded light aircraft structures, exhaust components and systems. Also tubular products with mandrel bending facilities, from 19 to 76mmin diameter; one "D" bending being a speciality. Our "unique design" does not rob power from the engine.  

 

The Management Team, Chris Piper (Director) an ex 'DeHaviland' apprentice, Tim Piper ( Director of Engineering) and Heidi Piper (Office Manager) draw upon skills and experience from training and working in the aero engine, motor industry and similar production environments over the past fifty years.
